When reporting a problem, telling us your iPhone model, your iOS version, and the Kaddie version at the bottom of Settings makes it far quicker to diagnose.
Subscriptions and refunds
- Managing or cancelling: subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your iPhone open Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use Manage Subscriptions in the App Store.
- Refunds: these are issued by Apple, so we cannot grant them directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in Kaddie itself went wrong, email us too — it usually means we have a bug to fix.
- Restoring a purchase on a new phone: Settings → Restore purchases.
Your data
- You don't have an account. Kaddie asks for no name, email or password. Your shots live on your phone.
- Deleting everything: Settings → Delete my data. This removes what we hold on our servers. Deleting the app removes what is on the phone.
- Withdrawing a featured clip: Settings → Remove my featured clips, at any time.
- Usage analytics: off unless you allowed it. Change your mind at Settings → Privacy → Share anonymous usage data. It takes effect immediately.

Common questions
- Do my videos get uploaded? Not by default. Manual tracing runs entirely on your phone. Automatic tracing uploads a short section of the clip and deletes it after processing. Swing analysis sends a few still frames — not the video — to our AI provider to produce the coaching.
- Why does it name the golf course? iPhones store the GPS location of where a video was filmed inside the file. Kaddie reads that to label your shot. Turn off location for the Camera app if you would rather it did not.
- The swing read looks wrong. Tell us — email support@kaddie.net and say what you disagree with. Being wrong about a swing is the failure we care most about, and reports like that are how it gets better.
- Nothing was detected in my clip. Film side-on or down-the-line, keep the whole swing in frame, and hold the phone still. Poor light and a busy background both make detection harder.
